Hubballi: No DJ Music After 10 PM: Police to Issue Strict Guidelines for Ganeshotsav

Hubballi, EXPRESS News: As the countdown to Ganeshotsav begins, many residents in the city have expressed concerns about noise levels. The 11-day festival often causes disruptions for students, patients, senior citizens, and people of all ages due to the high-decibel DJ systems and loudspeakers.
To curb noise pollution, the twin cities police will implement strict measures, including limiting the volume of DJ systems. Police Commissioner N Shashi Kumar stated that DJs will not be allowed to play after 10 PM. Any Ganesh mandali found violating this rule will face legal action, he added.
For smooth conduct of the festival, the twin cities police have conducted around 200 peace committee meeting. Aiming to sensitize and create awareness about peaceful celebration of festival.
